Use this PortMiami cruise terminals guide to prepare for transportation between your ship and Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Your cruise line, ship, and sailing date determine the terminal, and assignments can change.
Choose the airport route for your PortMiami terminal
- Miami Airport to PortMiami shuttle and private transfers
- Fort Lauderdale Airport to PortMiami shuttle and private transfers
Confirm the terminal for your sailing
PortMiami operates multiple cruise terminals on Dodge Island. A cruise line may use a usual terminal, but the berth can move because of the sailing schedule, port operations, or another ship. Check the cruise line documents and use the terminal and pickup point in your final transfer instructions rather than relying on an old map or a previous trip.
Common PortMiami terminal references
- Royal Caribbean commonly uses Terminal A.
- Norwegian Cruise Line commonly uses Terminal B.
- Carnival sailings may use Terminals D, E, or F.
- Virgin Voyages commonly uses Terminal V.
- MSC Cruises commonly uses Terminal AA.
- Other lines receive an assigned terminal for the sailing.
These are planning references, not a guarantee for a specific date. Visit the PortMiami cruise-line directory to select your line and ship.
PortMiami—not Port Everglades
PortMiami is the Miami cruise port on Dodge Island. Port Everglades is a different cruise port beside Fort Lauderdale Airport. The FLL transfer linked above travels between Fort Lauderdale Airport and PortMiami; it is not a transfer to Port Everglades.
Pickup after your cruise
After disembarking, collect your luggage and complete the required arrival process before proceeding to the pickup point. Keep your phone available for coordination. Vehicles cannot wait indefinitely at restricted terminal curbs, so follow the timing and meeting instructions attached to the reservation.
Book the correct service
Choose a shared shuttle for per-passenger service or a private transfer for a vehicle reserved for your group. Entering the cruise line and ship during booking helps connect the trip with the relevant terminal guidance.
